I experienced this issue when attempting to use several 1.5 templates from a vendor that shall remain nameless. Although the templates did installed correctly, the front-end displayed only blank pages after setting one of the new templates as the Joomla! default template. Today, once I read your comment on the Website, I extracted the zip file again for Joomlas2go_1.5.3. This time I tried installing a new template from RocketThemes.com. It worked successfully, and more importantly displayed correctly in the front end. Thank you for your quick comment, and thank you again for such an excellent product.
